Locked out
I have just used1Password for my Google account I am now locked out of Google and my gmail, so can not read anything sent there, you just said to me after reading a previous letter five minutes ago. You don't know what my question was, well for one thing I do not know the password that you put in to the account that has now locked me out of now accessing anything to do with Google. That is the main reason for using this app, so that I do not have to worry about remembering passwords? But, what do I do now? Regarding accessing my gmail and Google?

Hi @Marc Dearden,
Sorry to hear you're having trouble using 1Password with your Google account. We'll do our best to help you sort this out!
You seem to be referring to some previous contact you've had with us. Did you post elsewhere in our forum under a different username? If so, a link to that other thread would be helpful. Or did you have an email exchange with our staff using a different email address? I'm only asking so that I can track them down and connect the dots for a clearer picture of what you're experiencing, and to keep you from having to repeat yourself.
But just going by what you've posted above, if I understand correctly, it sounds like maybe you've changed your Google password by using our Strong Password Generator, but did not quite save the login item yet. In that case, 1Password will have saved that generated password in the Passwords category (which you can select from the Categories list in the left sidebar). You can select the item and click the "Convert to Login" button at the bottom of the item details pane, and then it will function as a login that you can use to sign into Google.
Hopefully this makes sense, but if I've missed the mark, please do let me know.
