Master password not needed after reboot any more?

I just noticed my phone rebooted, but 1password didn't ask for my master password like it usually does—it just prompted for TouchID.

Is this normal?

    That certainly has never happened to me. I'm required to renter my master password when I do a hard reset or even just shut off my iOS devices and restart them.

    Well I can't reproduce it. I thought my phone ran out of battery last night, but it might have been a faulty sleep/wake button (this affected a few batches of iPhone 5). If it happens again, I'll post an update.

    The only change I've made is the iPhone password is now a complex password (was 4 digit PIN).
