Secure notes not displaying fully on iPhone

Switched over from iCloud for syncing to Dropbox to get around the current iCloud problems and so that I could have some shared data. I was particularly interested in getting some Secure Notes to synchronise between my iPhone and my iMac which hadn't been the past few days due to the iCould "Failed to fetch some record zones" problem. When looking at the contents of these notes on my phone I found the last line of the note I was really interested in was missing and some other notes had the same problem - It is not all the most recent notes that are affected though. Adding more lines of dummy text to the notes field of the note gets the required data to be synchronised but the last line of the dummy data appears not to be.

For instance add

"

Hello world

Mary had a little lamb"

to the notes and the "Mary had a little lamb" line isn't displayed.

This looks like a synchronisation issue but if you start editing the note all lines of text are displayed. Setting up Dropbox sync on my iPad Mini Retina and checking the relevant note I see that line displayed so the issue is confined to the iPhone. Notes with only two line in the notes field are affected.

Anyone seen this before and got a workaround/fix for it?

    Thanks for taking the time to write to us about this issue. Yes, we're aware of the difficulty with certain notes fields not being displayed properly. Our developers are working on a fix. Please keep an eye out for updates in the App Store. :)

    P.S. As you correctly noted, the data is actually there and synced properly, this is a display issue.
