1Password is now working 100% on my Mini and My MacBook Pro. (After some initial difficulties related to the App Store.) I wish to add my iPad Air to the family. (IOS 8.4) Must I download it through the App Store? Or can I do it direct from Agilebits?

1Password Version: 5.3 and 4.4.3

OS Version: 10.10.3 and 10.9.5

The only place you can get any iOS application is from the App Store. This is true for 1Password, as well as all other applications. Developers cannot distribute iOS applications directly.

    Hi @BobSwift ,

I hope that Hawkmoth's answer helps you out here. He's correct, you can only get iOS apps from the iOS App Store. 1Password 5 for iOS is a free download, with some Pro Features available for a one-time in-app purchase.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns!

Thanks so much for ALL the help you've given with my issues. Today I'm in Juneau instead of California with iOS functioning and my iPad synched. Makes travel more fun.

  • On behalf of everyone here, you're welcome.

Enjoy your time in Juneau (Alaska?), sounds like you're having fun.
