Can no longer Wi-Fi sync since iOS update to v. 8.4

I've been using 1Password for many years. I purchased the v. 5 from agilebits and am now using v. 5.3.2.
Since agilebits stopped supporting cloud sync (unless v. 5 was purchased from Apple App Store) I have been Wi-Fi Syncing my iMac and MacBook Pro v. 10.10.4 through my home network and my iPhone 6 iOS v. 8.4.
Since v. 8.4 came out, 1Password Wi-Fi Sync on my iPhone will not recognize my MacBook Pro at all and some times will not recognize my iMac.
So now I have to enter any new logins etc. one at a time on three devices.
I've tried re-booting all devices, and shortening device names. Nothing helps.
Again, let me say that Wi-Fi Syncing has worked for me since 1Password v. 5 first came out and cloud sync support was dropped.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
Rich

  • Hi Rich ( @rschiavo ),

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble with WiFi sync. Could you please let me know if syncing via an Ad Hoc network works for you? You can find instructions for trying that here:

    Thanks!

    Hi Ben,

Thank you for your response. Before following you suggestion to try syncing via an Ad Hoc network. I re-booted my router.
So far, that seems to have worked. My iPhone was able to recognize both computers, and I was able to successfully sync 1Password.

    Thank you,

    Rich

  • Excellent. Glad to hear the reboot helped. If there is anything else we can do, please don't hesitate to contact us.
