Won't update password change on mobile devices

Hi @jbodger,
I'd like to get an idea of what data is actually making it to Dropbox.
Please try this test for me: On each device create a new Secure Note that has an easily identifiable name (e.x. "Mac test", "iPad test", and "iPhone test", respectively). Once you've done that, please log into the Dropbox web interface at https://www.dropbox.com/ on your Mac. Open up the 1Password folder, then the 1Password.agilekeychain folder. Inside you should see a 1Password.html file. This is the "1PasswordAnywhere" feature. Log in using your Master Password, and see which of the Secure Notes that you created on your devices show up there.
Please let me know which ones are there and which are not.
Please also let me know which notes show up on each of the respective devices and which do not.
Thanks!
Ben
P.S. You can learn more about 1PasswordAnywhere here: https://support.1password.com/guides/mac/1passwordanywhere.html

Sorry for the delay in responding...traveling. I made the 3 secure test notes (iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro). Checked 1Password folder. The 1Password.agilekeychain is there but there is no password anywhere.html.
Here's another clue: the date on the 1Password.agilekeychain is7/8/15, modified today at 11:33 am, which is when I created the Secure Notes.
There is also another 1Password.agilekeychain on the root level of my dropbox. It was created on Feb 25, 2013 and modified this morning at 10:30 am, but is says it was last opened in May 17, 2013.
How can I have two active keychains?
thx!

More clues: seems that the iPad and iPhone are syncing with the dropbox root level 1Password.agilekeychain, and the Mac Laptop is syncing with the keychain in the 1Password folder on dropbox.
Should I attempt to change the sync destination to iCloud as a way to get all devices syncing to the same 1Password.agilekeychain?

Hi @jbodger,
In your first post you said you were running version 5.3.1 which would make that the AgileBits Store version of 1Password for Mac. If you are an AgileBits Store customer rather than a Mac App Store customer iCloud won't be an option I'm afraid due to the changes that occurred with the release of iCloud Drive. For more on that we have a page titled https://support.1password.com/icloud-faq/.
Instead what I would recommend would be to create a backup from one of your iOS devices and then your Mac before we change your Mac to sync to the same Agile Keychain.
- Here is a guide on Creating manual backups in 1Password for iOS.
- In 1Password for Mac you want to enter 1Password's preferences and switch to the Backup tab. In there click on the Backup Now button.
Having done this you will now want to disable Dropbox Sync on your Mac and then set up 1Password for Mac to sync to the correct Agile Keychain.
- In 1Password for Mac you want to enter 1Password's preferences and switch to the Sync tab.
- You should see an menu that currently says Dropbox. You want to change that option to None.
- In the confirmation dialog you can enable the checkbox titled Delete data from Dropbox to remove the second (and redundant) Agile Keychain before you click the Disable Sync button.
- You then want to change the option from None back to Dropbox and point 1Password to the correct Agile Keychain.
There will be a certain amount of synchronising at this point. If things don't look right we can use the backups to undo everything and try a different approach.
Should you have any questions before starting any of this please do ask.
