How to unlock Pro features

I purchased 1Password 5 for Mac for $24.99 last year, and I've been using it on my computer. I'm using my primary vault, and just created a 2nd one to use for work. But when I go to the app on my phone, it is telling me that I need to buy 1Password Pro for $9.99 in order to have access to both vaults on my phone. Do I have to pay an additional $9.99??!

    Hi @arealie,

I'm sorry for any confusion about that! I hope you don't mind, but since your question is really about the iOS version of 1Password, I've moved your message to our iOS forum.

1Password is licensed separately on each supported platform, which means the Mac and iOS versions of 1Password are sold separately. Mac computers and iOS devices run different operating systems, and therefore they use different apps. We aren't able to sell 1Password for Mac and iOS together as a bundle because Apple doesn't currently provide a way of doing so. In short, the 1Password 5 for Mac license you purchased is a license for the Mac version of 1Password. It allows you to use 1Password on all of your Macs, and can even be shared by up to 6 family members in the same household so they can use it on their Macs, too.

1Password 5 for iOS is a free download, and offers free basic features. If you would like to unlock the Pro Features in 1Password 5 for iOS, you can do so with an in-app purchase. That purchase would allow you to activate Pro Features in 1Password 5 on all your iOS 8 devices associated with your Apple ID.

You can find more information about how 1Password is licensed here: What licenses do I need to use 1Password on all my devices?

I hope that helps to clear up any confusion about that! But if you do have more questions, please let us know. We're always glad to help! :)
