Can't format phone numbers when entering new credit card info

When you try to enter phone number info for customer support, it pops up a numeric keyboard only, so you can't format with parentheses or dashes, only * ; + etc. Not being able to add formatting makes it hard to read the phone numbers.

Am I missing something?

    Thanks for contacting us about this phone number formatting limitation. It's been previously reported to our developers and on their radar to improve, although we can't guarantee if/when that'll happen. We'd want a solution for handling phone number formats that can vary depending on the region.
