Great article. These websites just who do this are just a pain, and just ask people to "use an easy password".

Perhaps this is a good place to remind 1Password users of an approach to re-enable pasting on sites that prohibit it.

    And this for Firefox users:

Here is another one from Troy Hunt with input from Agilebits's @jpgoldberg :

@hawkmoth, The links favour PCs and laptops. It will be harder to make it work on iOS.

@wkleem - The first link I put in my previous post is for a bookmarklet, which, when added to Safari on a Mac will transfer to iOS mobile Safari, if bookmarks are set to sync to iCloud. I can verify that this works as described.

Thanks. I'm mostly on Windows these days, I'll try it out on Yosemite when I get the chance to do so. I've turned off iCloud as I didn't want iCloud Drive, having iOS 7 and 8 devices.

Also, the second link applies to Firefox, and that would be for any platform on which Firefox is available. Alas, not good for iOS, though.

And Windows itself does not allow pasting from the clipboard for a Login, which is VERY useful for VM-based systems.

@MrC: Good point. I guess I've become desensitized to this over the years, but now my rage has been rejuvenated! :rage:

This should really be called "The List of Shame" or something.

@hawkmoth: Awesome tips! Thank you! :)
