why do I have to enter my thumb print every time?
Every time I come to use 1password I seem to have to use touch id. It is a real pain. Is it because I press the sleep button every time I finish using the ipad? I have auto lock set to one hour, lock on exit off, touch id on. All I want to do is have it on ALL the time unless I decide otherwise.
Please can you help.
Thanks
Tony

@tonyt: While I think that Touch ID is much more convenient than entering the Master Password each time, it sounds like you just need to set up 1Password to better match your preferences.
Go to 1Password Settings > Security, and adjust the options to suit your needs. For instance, it sounds like you probably have Lock on Exit turned on, which will require either the Master Password or Touch ID any time you switch to another app. I hope this helps! :)

Thanks brenty. Auto lock is set to 60, lock on exit OFF. I want to be able to have it on ALL THE TIME! Any ideas?

Interesting. I would expect this in the current version in the Safari extension (that is something we hope to have fixed in v5.5), but the main app should be behaving as expected.
Could you please try toggling lock on exit on and then back off and see if the problem with the main app persists? If it does, please send us a diagnostics report:

Then attach the entire file to an email to us:
