iOS Lock Bug

I ran into a bug with the lock functionality today.

My Security settings:

  • Lock on Exit: Disabled
  • Auto-Lock: 10 minutes
  • PIN Code: Disabled

I'm running:

  • 1Password iOS Pro 5.4.3
  • iPhone 4S
  • iOS 8.4 (12H143)
  • Safari browser extension

Steps to reproduce:

  • Open Safari
  • Go to gmail.com
  • Tap Safari's "More" icon
  • Tap 1Password
  • 1Password is locked
  • Enter Master Password to unlock 1Password
  • Tap my login (1Password fills in my email address)
  • Tap "Next"
  • Tap Safari's "More" icon
  • Tap 1Password
  • 1Password is locked again

Issue resolution: 1Password should be unlocked in the last step

Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: 8.4
Sync Type: Dropbox

  • Hi @ryansebiz,

    In 1Password for iOS v5.4 the Safari extension does not obey all of the locking settings of the main app (instead it locks after each use). We've improved that in the v5.5 betas, and hopefully that version will be available to everyone soon. :)
