Paid Update for new 1P for iOS?
I was using the "1Password Pro" iOS app (an old version) and I just updated to the latest 1P app. However, I'm forced to pay ten dollars to get Pro again, even though it's supposed to be giving Pro for free. Yes, I did try "Restore Purchases" and etc. Please help!

@adihaya: Indeed. Sorry for the confusion! "1Password Pro" was version 3 of our iOS app, and 1Password 4 was a paid upgrade since it was a brand new app. 1Password 5 was a free upgrade for 1Password 4 customers, otherwise it is a free app with an in-app purchase for Pro Features. You're not forced to pay anything, as you can use the app for free. You only need to pay if you want the addition Pro functionality.
Now, as far paid updates: yes, we charge for our products, and we're proud of that. We believe in charging sustainable prices for our products so that we can continue developing our software and supporting you and the rest of our awesome customers. Otherwise, none of us at AgileBits would be available to answer questions like this and help troubleshoot!
And we don't offer free updates for life. I know many apps that did, which are no longer being updated or supported because the developers needed to get paying jobs; and I know plenty of free apps which sustain themselves by selling customer information. We don't do that.
And to be clear, nothing has been taken away from you; you can continue to use version 3 for as long as you like. But if you want all the improvements and new features in 1Password 5 that we worked hard on (over and above the free basic features), you will need to pay for them. I hope this helps.
