Smart Folders
Been searching the forum for more clarity on exactly what Smart Folders are (as opposed to folders), and came across one posted query with the answer being Smart Folders not available for iOS (December 2014). As of today, is it still not available for iOS?
Smart Folders is the very last thing for me to understand before proceeding. I will not bother with that if it's not available for iOS because I now have my 1P (Mac and iOS) synced together.

Will it be available in the near future?

Most likely not. It is not included in current betas, and so depending on your definition of 'near,' it would be just about impossible to see it within that time frame. :)

Any news on Smart Folders for iOS? I have several defined and it would be great to be able to see these via the iOS app.
Main one I would like is my smart folder that shows all items that have 1 or more attachments.
Thanks,

Hi Neil ( @rctneil ),
I've moved your post to a recent thread about Smart Folder availability in 1Password for iOS.
Any news on Smart Folders for iOS?
Nothing more than what Ben has already mentioned.

So do I, and I agree with you.
Main one I would like is my smart folder that shows all items that have 1 or more attachments.
Interesting you'd mention this specific example because it's the same as what I'd been thinking would have come in quite useful for me several times earlier this week. :)
Wish I had better news to offer. All of us 1Password users here at AgileBits would personally like to have and use certain features as much as our customers. At least you know we're riding in the same boat with you there!

Ok, Thanks. Just ensure you add my +24 to it! :-)
(24 should be enough to push it to the top of your work list right?)

Now that's more like it!

I had the same issue/need in the Mac forum and littlebobbytables came up with the idea below (had to copy as I do not how to link in this forum).
From littlebobbytables - start of quote:
Which you can easily update by leveraging both Smart Folders and a neat way of adding a tag to multiple items  My thinking is.
- Create a Smart Folder on your Mac that displays all items with an attachment and save for future use.
- When you want to update the tags select the entire results list displayed when you select the Smart Folder and drag it on top of the attachments tag in the Sidebar. This will do nothing to the items that have the tag but add the tag to all those items that don't have it.
Obviously not as elegant as having a cross-platform Saved Search/Smart Folder but hopefully makes it a bit easier
End of quote

I knew we kept @littlebobbytables around for some reason. ;)
An excellent suggestion, and hopefully a useful workaround.
