Not all icons sync

Hi,

Have been using 1Password for 2 days now and love it! Also use it on iOS.

I was just wondering about following:

Although some icons show properly in 1Password on OSX they don't show up in the iOS app! Any idea what this can be due to?

Any whilst I am here: Does anyone know if there is a possibility to change the icon of a second vault?

Do you have rich icons switched on in the iOS application? The switch is in the Display section of the 1Passwords setup screen. Also, is this across all categories, or just some? I know that Credit Cards currently use the generic icons in iOS, although the rich icons work in the OS X version.

You can't change the icon that represents the secondary vault. You also can't change its name. The way users work around the name change limitation is to create a new secondary vault with the name you want, then move all the records from the older secondary vault to the new one, then delete the old one.

First of all, thanks for the kind words about 1Password - it's awesome to hear that you've been enjoying it so far!

The rich icons are pulled from a server, and we don't quite have all of the icons for all of the websites in the world there yet, so there is always a chance that you'll see a few generic ones mixed amongst the colourful ones, but you should be seeing the same thing whether you're on OS X or iOS. Could you tell us which items are displaying consistently across your devices?

Hawkmoth is correct in that you can't change the details of a secondary vault after creation, without re-creating the vault. It's a bit clunky, but I've done it once or twice, because it sure is nice to have colourful icons to help you determine which vault is which!

I understand that 1Password pulls the rich icons from a server. Although it did that for the apps Waltr (Softorino) and iMazing in 1Password on my Mac, they didn't show up on iOS. I manually added them now and then they synced back. Maybe a small bug in the system?

Anyways, solved it manually now :-)
