"Error Listing Keychains" when trying to sync iPhone to DropBox
I have 1P on my 2015 MBP, with keychain synced to DropBox (syncing to iCloud seems to no longer be an option?). Anyhow, the version on my iPhone6 is synced to an older version of my keychain on iCloud. When I try to switch the iPhone to syncing with DropBox, I get the above error message.
1Password Version: 5.3.2
Extension Version: 4.4.2
OS Version: 10.10.5
Sync Type: DB (wish it was iCloud but no longer an option)

Yes and yes. In double-checking that, I notice there are 2 different 1P-related folders in my Dropbox folder, one called "1Password" the other called "1password.agilekeychain". Possible source of the problem?

Hi @jschatz,
At this point I think it would be beneficial to see a diagnostic report from each of your devices.
iOS: https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/ios.html
Mac: https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/mac.htmlThen attach the files to an email to us:
support+forum@agilebits.com
Please do not post your Diagnostics Reports in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Reports in our inbox.
For each email you send you should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can quickly track down the report and ensure that it is dealt with quickly. :)
Once we see the reports we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!
Ben

Hello,
I am experiencing the same issue. I noted that I had more than one login for a particular website (on my Mac), indicating a sync issue (I think). So I opened 1Password on my Mac and removed the multiple logins to that site. I then re-added the site as a new add in 1Password.I then tried to see if the change was reflected in iOS on my phone. I noted that the last sync was in August (!). Still on the iPhone, I deleted the sync to DropBox and tried to re-add it. I am now presented with a 1Password dialog stating "Error Listing Keychains. 1Password encountered a problem. Dismiss".
I do have the Dropbox app on my iPhone, and I am able to log in to it and see current content in my DropBox.
What should I do at this point? Thanks,
/timothy

Hi Timothy ( @thellum ),
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with Dropbox sync. Let's see if we can't get this straightened out.
First of all, let's make sure that 1Password is keeping logs that will be useful to us if we need a Diagnostics Report. Please go to Settings > Advanced > Diagnostics > Log Settings. We'll want to enable logging for 'Dropbox' and 'Sync'.
Now, I'd like you to try removing the Dropbox account from 1Password. You mentioned resetting sync, but let's try re-adding the Dropbox account itself. When you're viewing your Dropbox account details in 1Password, simply tap the ⓘ (info icon) to get the removal option.
If re-adding your Dropbox account doesn't work, please send in a Diagnostics Report.

Hi Megan,
Thank you for your response.
I enabled logging for the two services suggested and was unable to add Dropbox without a screen error, but Dropbox ended up being added anyway. Trying Dropbox sync once more proved out the same problem as originally reported. So I have sent off the diagnostic report to you.
Thanks,

Hi @bwoodruff
Thanks for the reply. I received some direct eMail responses from Agilebits support and the thread continued there.
Upshot: Deleted app from iPhone, re-downloaded and attached to DropBox once again, and all is well (I needed to remember my 1P vault password as stored on Dropbox, for anyone reading this in the future).
