Dropbox Sync to Windows and iPhone
I have the Windows version on my desktop and the iPhone app, I noticed not all the logins are syncing. The desktop has 54 and the iPhone only 41 as well as other items. It says they are syncing, but they aren't -- thoughts?
1Password Version: 4.6.0.585

Hi @sbussert,
Sorry to hear it seems Dropbox isn't syncing properly. I'd like to get an idea of what items are actually making it to Dropbox. To do that, I'd like to ask you to login to 1PasswordAnywhere, please:
https://support.1password.com/guides/mac/1passwordanywhere.html
Please let me know which set of items appears there -- the Windows PC's, or the iPhone's.
Thanks!

Well that was interesting. Seems Dropbox IS synced to my iPhone, but my Windows app is not syncing everything.
Logins like a couple of Amazon Accounts, Aweber.com, and the like did not sync.
Items:
Logins
Windows (54)
iPhone (41)The rest seem to be there, although it seems iPhone has a items out of the Wallet where Windows has them inside of an Item called Wallet.
The sync settings in Windows do show Dropbox in the right folder, so not sure what I am missing.
Does that help?

@sbussert: If you're just using the free features of 1Password for iOS (without paying for the Pro Features upgrade), you won't have access to all of the categories for organizing; however, all of you data in other categories (Membership, etc.) is still there, you'll just need to search or find it under All Items instead.
Now, if that doesn't help you find the 'missing items', please do check 1PasswordAnywhere through the Dropbox website as bwoodruff described in his previous post. That will help us get a sense for what is getting to Dropbox in the first place. Thanks in advance! :)

Hi @sbussert,
I suspect Pro features are not the issue as you specifically mentioned a different number of Login items, which wouldn't be affected by that.
This may seem like a silly question, but can you please make sure the Dropbox app on your Windows computer is running? And it is syncing other files into your Dropbox account okay (they show up in the web interface at dropbox.com)?
Thanks.

@bwoodruff - Not a silly questions at all - see you just had to know what to ask... My Dropbox was Not syncing with my desktop. Guess it was turned off. Since 1Password is all I use it for, I didn't notice. All is good. The Login Items are now syncing. Appreciate the help. Case closed.

@sbussert: I had this same problem yesterday, and I will tell you exactly why, in case it helps you and others in the future. Now, it isn't clear if you meant that Dropbox itself was disabled, or just the Dropbox sync setting in 1Password, but here's what happened to me:
- 1Password experienced an error trying to sync with Dropbox the other day (I had been testing something, which caused this to happen)
- 1Password shoed a notification about the error, and I dismissed it to get it out of my way so I could finish what I was doing
- I forgot I had done this
- Dropbox was no longer syncing my 1Password data
So 1Password will let us know when there's a problem, but if we ignore this, we may move on and forget, resulting in confusion later on. I'm right there with you!
