How can I change the icon of a vault?

I like how you can switch vaults in 5.5 by tapping the icon in the upper left corner. However all my vaults have the same icon, unlike the example in the blog post introducing 5.5.

How can I change the icon of a vault?

The only time you have choices to make about the icon used for a particular vault is when you create it. It can't currently be modified after that.

You could create a new secondary vault with the icon you want, then export all the records to you desktop and import them back into your newly created vault. Be careful with the exported file - it is not encrypted. You'll need to delete it securely for security sake. This would need to be done on the desktop, though. I'm not aware of a way to do this entirely within the iOS application.

    Hi @XIII,

I'm sorry for the confusion. The fancy looking vault in our blog post was the demo vault. At this time, it is not possible to customize the vault icons on the iOS app. You can do on the Mac app as Hawkmoth suggests, but these customizations will not sync.

I certainly think it would be nice to have customized icons on iOS, and I'll be certain to let our team know that you would as well!

@Megan - Will colors of new vaults sync to iOS from the Mac version?

    Hi @Hawkmoth,

At this time, those fancy colours and customizations are not synced. We'd need to do a bit of finagling inside the database to allow those to sync. There's definitely a feature request open for that, and I'd be happy to add your vote. (Mine's already there, because colourful vaults are just more fun!)
