When creating a new Login no umlaut characters work anymore!
Hello everybody from the Agile Bits - Team,
since a long time of beeing an absolutely happy customer, i know sadly have to bother you with a really serious issue.
As the thread-title already might suggest, i am not able to type in complete passwords with all the needed characters anymore!
Just to mention ist: I didn´t made any major or minor changes on the system itself for a long while now!
Since this problem occured today, I´ve tried kinda everything that i could think of: restarting ipad few times, checked for the latest updates (iOS and 1Password), switched keyboard languages a few times forth and back, tried copy&pasting passwords. But nothing helps. No success yet!
There a many logins, notes, memberships, cards and so on from the very past in my tresor, an all of theirs password fields could be and most even are filled with about every character possible in UTF-8 - including ü ö ä ß and so on! But when creating any new login or note or whatever now, i cannot type in these symbols anymore. I even cannot copy and paste them into the password field. If i do so, a yellow underline appears, but no character shows up nor can i save the fields.
(Saving stays greyed out until i enter a "normal" character like abc1234....).
I´d really appreciate your help and hope you have an idea about what´s going on.
Regards, Marc

Hi @Heislitz,
I can reproduce this and it seems it was reported recently too. I believe we've ferreted the bug out now and that the fix should make it into a future version. I do apologise that you've been caught out by this and hopefully it won't be for too long.

Hello.
Exactly the same issue with French characters ( é, è, ....)
When will a fix be released?
All the best0 -
Sorry for the inconvenience! The development team is looking into the issue, and we'll have to release an update to fix this, though I cannot say when that might be.
