Won't show password exceeding 20 characters
Sorry, if this happens to be the wrong forum for my question, my apologies, but...
I've encountered, that if my password exceeds 20 characters, it won't show the remaining characters in the password window. Further it looks like you won't be able to "scroll" to the end of your password, so as to at least write the remaining characters down (on a piece of paper), like you'd be able to do within any standard "entry-window". This defeats the purpose IMO of getting to retrieve your "no longer remembering" password.
Also a landscape mode could possiblycircumvent this problem; or at least could show more than 20 characters. Thanks.

Hi @BetterSafe...,
Thanks for taking the time to write in to us with this report.
I just tested this with a 30 character password and it is showing for me just fine. Could you please explain where exactly you are seeing this behavior (what device, what version of 1Password, which screen)?
Thanks!
Ben

Hi Ben,
Thank you for taking on my question. I'm referring to the iOS app (vers.5.5) using it on an iPhone 6.
Let's say I'm going to the Logins category. Then I choose an entry/company/website, click on it, hit then the "edit" button (right upper corner). Click then "reveal password", what shows then up on the revealed password-field, are only the first 19 characters, followed by "..." (3 dots). I then CAN'T "long click" into this field and scroll to the right/towards the end of my password, to show the remaining characters. Instead what happens is, - (when I "long-click", at the field described above) - an "entry-cursor" appears at the immediate field above, (where the password is hidden and represented by "large dots"), and where I can erase my password (x-out). I hope this explanation made it clearer. Thank you.0 -
Thanks, @BetterSafe.... Do you have any accessibility features turned on, such as larger or bolder text? If so you may need to press and instead of pressing 'reveal password' -- try 'large type' instead.

Aha, you were right. It had to do with the text size being somewhat enlarged; at least to the point to not showing more than the indicated characters. Might get the app developers something to ponder about, as to maybe implement landscape mode for the app. After all, we're not getting younger and eyesight is usually not getting better as we age... ;) Thank you anyway for helping to resolve this puzzle.
