Why can't I install 1Password on my son's iPod touch?
I have a Apple Family Account and my wife is able to install and use 1Password just fine. However my son (8 years old) cannot. He can find the app in the app store but the "get" button is disabled.

Because 1PW contains its own browser, it is subject to Parental Controls. Try turning parental controls off for his machine, and I bet you will be able to download 1PW. If that works, you can then turn on parental controls again.

It's because of the age issues in his iTunes account. The only way around if the person is 17 or older. I had this issue when I got 1Password for my daughter who was 15 at the time.
Now what I did was change her birthday under her iTunes (her account) settings so she was 17. That's just me, my daughter and I have a great and close relationship, so I didn't mind doing this for her.

It was the parental controls. I went into Settings -> General -> Restrictions on his iPod and changed his App ratings. After that it installed easily. Thanks @danco.
