Suggestion: separate accounts login for iPad

Hello,

Recently I was disappointed to discover that you can't have 2 separate logins on the iPad app of 1Password.

Presently If 2 users want their vaults on the iPad, one user needs to give his password to the other to unlock the app. And by having the 2 vaults in the app, without a second security layer, both vaults are visible to both users.

It would be great if the 1Password app would be designed in a way that if you type the Master password of user #1 it only shows his own vault, and if user #2 types in his Master password the vault of #2 is unlocked.

I understand that iOS is built as a '1 user' OS, but considering how many people use 1 iPad for the whole family, I think 1Password should change the app in a way that makes this suggestion possible.

    Hi @Vuurie,

Unlocking 1Password for iOS does indeed unlock all of its vaults – the primary and any optional secondaries. The ability to unlock and isolate each vault separately would require some extensive redesign, reimplementation, and testing with security being the top priority along with other considerations.

That said, we do have an open request for this kind of functionality and understand how useful it would be in situations like yours. Thank you for the suggestion and your feedback, which I've passed along to our developers.
