phone number field in notes

Would it be possible to let us choose to select "phone" under "add field". I do miss this functionality, especially in notes.
It is already there, since under bank accounts branch information you can enter a phone number and if you select this on your phone it offers to dial instead of just copy...

Hi @benrul90,

Thanks for letting us know you'd like to be able to choose "phone" as a field type! We've heard this request from other customers as well, and I'll be happy to add your comments to our open feature request for that. For now, this is something that has been added to the Mac version of 1Password, so if you happen to be using 1Password 5 for Mac, you can add a phone field there and sync it to your iOS device.

@Drew_AG thanks for your answer! I'm using the AppStore version since I like the cloud sync. unfortunately this feature doesn't seem to be there :-( will the app store version also get it or is it 1password 5 exclusive?

Hi @benrul90,

This is my mistake - it turns out that feature has been added in a beta version of 1Password 5 for Mac, but not yet the release version. (I forgot that I was using the beta when I checked that feature earlier.) I'm sorry for the confusion about that! The good news is that, barring any unforeseen circumstances, that option should be in the next regular update for both the AgileBits Store and Mac App Store versions of 1Password 5. I don't know exactly when that update will be released, but the Mac App Store should let you know as soon as it's available.
