Synching multiple vaults between Windows 7 and iPad via WiFi: I canot get this to work.
Hi,
I'm just looking into 1Password ot see if it fits my needs of working with separate vaults for different areas. According to this article "https://support.1password.com/switch-to-wifi/win.html" and from reading help I seem to understand that it should be possible to have multiple vauilts and synch then between Windows 7 and iPad (iOS 8).
I created a second vault on Windows with a separate master password. I start the WiFi synch and it seems to run successfully (no error message appears). But I still can see only one vault (the one originally created) on my iPad.
What am I missing?
Regards
Peter

Hi Peter,
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but at the moment Windows can only WiFi sync a single vault via WiFi. If you'd like to sync multiple vaults between Windows and iOS you would need to use Dropbox.
I apologize for any confusion, and for the inconvenience. If you could point me to the wording that gave you this impression I'd be happy to forward it on to our documentation team to see if perhaps we should consider different phrasing to be more clear.
Thanks!
Ben

Hi Ben,
thanks for the quick answer. After that I reread everything again and it seems my brain has hidden the words I did not want so see. Seriously, I had overlooked the fact the this is only working between Mac and iOS. I'm sorry.Am I correct that I cannot create more than one vault on the iPad. It is only the Mac/Windows versions that support creating multiple vault. And after synchronisation, they will appear on the iPad?

Peter,
I'm sorry.
No need to apologize for wishful thinking. :)

At the moment that is correct.
Multiple vaults can be synced from Mac via Dropbox or WiFi and from Windows via Dropbox.
Thanks.
