iOS 4.5.3 compatible w/Mac v5.x?

Just as the title asks. I know I can update to 1password 5 on one of my MB Pros but will that sync with the older iOS version of 1password 4.5.3? I sync via WiFi.

here are my current specs:

iPhone 5: iOS 7.1.2 with 1password 4.5.3
MB Pro: OS 10.10.5 with 1password 4.4.3
MB Pro: OS 10.8.5 with 1password 4.4.3

On another note, what versions of both happens with iOS 9?

Hi @deangles,

WiFi sync is designed to work between one Mac and one or more iOS devices. It is not setup to be used with one iOS device and multiple Macs.

When you upgrade to iOS 9 you'll want to install 1Password 6 for iOS, which is a free upgrade. That version will sync over WiFi with 1Pasword 5 for Mac.

Dropbox may be the best solution for you here, as it'll work with 1Password for iOS v4, 5, and 6, as well as 1Password for Mac v4 and 5.

While awaiting a response, on the late evening of Sept. 15, I upgraded my MB Pro on 10.10.5 to 1password 5.3.2 for Mac. BTW, nice improvements over v4. It synced just fine on my iPhone and iPad both still on 1password iOS 4.5.3. I, also have the Mac version syncing to a folder to which I copy the 1password.agilekeychain over to the the older MB Pro. I plan on upgrading the iDevices to iOS 9 so I look forward to 1password 6 for iOS.
