Hi @Luciediamonds,
Sorry to hear about the trouble! 1Password doesn't actually determine if a fingerprint is handled or not. We pass that part off entirely to iOS on your device.
If it still isn't working you can simply hit 'cancel' and then enter your Master Password.
Thanks.

Hi @Luciediamonds,
I hope Ben's answer helps explain how we interact with Touch ID. Apple's framework simply allows us to ask for the user to be authenticated using Touch ID and the response we get is yes or no. If Touch ID isn't as robust as it should be I see a common suggestion in Apple's forums (not extensively monitored by Apple it has to be said) is to delete the finger from Touch ID and re-enter it. We are of course assuming Touch ID is properly set up on your iOS device given we're reliant on iOS doing all the work. I hope you manage to tame Touch ID

Thx for that insight!
I finally have won Touch ID!
Now I can't deal with Siri's dictation!0 -
Hi @Luciediamonds,
I'm glad to hear that and sadden to hear you have a different issue. I assume Siri is not an issue with 1Password but a system-wide issue.
You probably want to do the same thing you did with Touch ID, turn off Siri and turn it back, it might help.
I hope you get it fixed.

She talks-in bits-while I'm typing! And she guessed as words. Annoying!

Haha, indeed! But make sure you have some fun with that. She's great at parties!
