Lost My master password! I know previous master password, pin code, and have access to Dropbox

So yeah, the title was very detailed so it could look different from any other thing that says they lost they're password. Again, I remember almost everything else private besides my master password. And if it's impossible to do this, it's fine, I'll just delete the 1 password files in my account and reset all my accounts with my email.

    Hi @InTheAir,

    The only thing that might help you here is, as you remember your Master Password from before..., you could restore a backup from when you used that password. There is no way to unlock the current keychain without the current Master Password, though.

    Oh shoot, that's disappointing. I'll make sure I do that next time. Again, don't worry about me losing my whole Internet, I use iCloud email so I can just reset all my passwords.

    Sorry to hear that you weren't able to restore from a backup, @InTheAir. We do have some tips for recovering a forgotten Master Password, which it certainly won't hurt to try.

    Unfortunately, if you aren't able to recover the password and you don't have a backup to restore from, then I'm afraid the only solution is to start over. I'm glad to hear that you'll be able to easily reset your passwords, though!
