Can't open 1Password. Won't let me enter password. Forcing me to sync via WiFi or iCloud
Just upgraded from a 4s to a 5. It is forcing me to either sync existing vault or create a new vault. Have already synced the phone to my iMac via cable. Tried syncing via WiFi although can't see why this is necessary. Using the same WiFi network on both computor and phone. Have tried syncing phone again, Re-booting phone. Nothing is working. Not interested in using iCloud. Any help appreciated.

Hi John ( @jturuk ),
By default your 1Password data is only stored on the device you create it on. We do not store it. The reason you are getting the prompt to create a new vault or sync an existing one is because there is no 1Password data on your new phone. You need to get it there. :)
If you don't really want to sync, you can backup the data from your old phone and then restore it to the new following these instructions:
https://support.1password.com/ios-itunes-backups
If you do want to sync the old and the new, you can find instructions for that here:
https://support.1password.com/guides/ios/syncing.html
Thanks!

Thanks for your help Ben. It was just as you said. I synced my old phone to my new phone via iCloud and presto it was all there!

I'm glad Ben was able to help out @jturuk  and of course it's great to hear you have 1Password for iOS up and running again.
