    Hi ben, thx for respon.
Url from local internet banking in indonesia.
    m.klikbca.com
1passw assume about other server pretend that url which can put my confidential data in risk.
Try to use mac safari as user agent and it work. But cannot work in user agent 1browser, iphone, ipad safari. Any suggest about this?
One more quest : is it safe to browse with 1passw which means my history cannot track? Is that user agent i choosen did effect to private browse? Like browse in private browse safari ios?
    Thx mr ben :)

  • Hi @anen36,

We do have a tiny cache of cookies and history in order to let websites work (many sites can't). There's a setting to manually clear this cache in the 1Password's Settings > 1Browser > Clear Web Data, the same area where you change the browser's user agent.

We did change the engine for 1Browser between 1Password 5 and 1Password 6 for iOS. There are some changes to the way certificates can load in 1Browser and third party browsers and it looks like there is a problem with klikbca's certificate. This isn't something we can fix at the moment as it is an iOS Web API issue for third party browsers.

Can you tell me if you see this same problem with klikbca.com in Mobile Safari on your iOS devices as well?

Hi Mike, thx for your attention. I did clear web data but this not solve that case. So far i change the user agent to mac safari in ios 1password iphone6 and always work for that website. The problem only in my iphone6. My ipad mini3 works good even i use 1browser as user agent. And in safari ios iphone6 using ios9 there is no issue about klikbca's web. Sorry about my english, i hope you get it what i meant.
    thx,
    Ivan.

  • Hi @anen36,

Is it possible it works fine in iPad mini 3 because the website loads the tablet or desktop version of the site? That explains why switching the user agent on the iPhone to Mac Safari works fine and the 1Browser on iPad user agent are usually treated the same as Mac.

I tried Safari on my iPad and iPhone, I'm getting the same certificate problem as I see in 1Browser.

This seems like an issue with the site, not something we can fix on our side. Apple does have some bugs with invalid and self-signed certificates for third party browsers, something we cannot fix either. We need to wait for Apple to fix the issues before 1Browser can work with these sites.

Ok MikeT. Thx for your explanation. Already understand more about browser in ipad iphone. 1passw is my number1 apps in my iphone. if you want to explain about privacy and security using 1passw browser i will appreciate that. Do i must clear web data everytime i close web from 1passw browser before i logout this application? So someone cannot track my internet history? Thx a lot.

  • Hi @anen36,

The web data is stored within 1Password's sandbox, it cannot be retrieved by other apps on the same device. However, it can be retrieved if someone has access to your device and knows your iPhone's security code as well.

The web data is persistent, so if you want to clear the data, you do need to manually clear it as often as you can. We do plan to improve this in the future to automate this or add the ability to privately browse without recording anything.
