I can't seem to use TouchID on my iPad Air2. How does this work?

I just got this app. When I went through all the sign up stuff I turned on Touch ID, but am in a quandary as to how it works. I try to sign in with a fingerprint but nothing happens. I have an iPad Air2 with iOS9.

    @JMarie4670 Quandaries are indeed perplexing. Could you check the Security tab in 1Password's Settings to make sure Touch ID is enabled? I had an issue with Dropbox that stopped it from working when I updated the app in iOS 9. I just had to manually enable it again and everything was up and running. :)

    And if it is already enabled, please try disabling and re-enabling it. It may also be necessary to restart the device.
