Trouble syncing iPad after update.
I updated all my devices (MacBook Pro, iPad, iPhone) and now I'm having problems syncing my iPad. When I look at my iCloud storage on my phone or iPad there are 2 vaults, but I only use one. Is there a way to tell which is newer? Should I delete the older one or both? If I delete both, how do I reset sync and nor loose data? Thanks.

Ok, sort of solved the problem, but not fully. I went to my computer, turned off sync, and deleted iCloud data. Went to my phone and then there was only one file in my iCloud. I deleted that. I deleted 1password from my phone and iPad. Turned syncing on on my computer and let that finish. Reinstalled 1password on my devices. The phone synced up in no time. The iPad got passed the "looking for iCloud data" box (something it would not do when there were 2 files) but now it is hung up on "Syncing..." I have tried to stop and restart sync several times to no avail.

FIXED IT!!! After reading more I decided to do the restart thing. I deleted 1password, restarted the iPad, reinstalled 1pass, restarted the iPad, then tryed to sync again. Lo and behold, it worked. I hope this helps anyone else who had this problem and that it doesn't return.

@dubman Great to hear that you got iCloud syncing working on your iPad! We actually discovered a bug in the new iOS Low Power function that is causing issues with iCloud syncing in 1Password 6 for iOS. Our developers are quickly working on a fix. In the meantime, this is what we are telling people to do:
- Cancel out of the Sync screen where it is stuck on ‘Looking up iCloud information’
- Make sure Low Power mode is off. (Go to the phone’s general Settings -> Battery) You might also need to connect to power if battery is low.
- If needed, switch to Wi-Fi (get off cellular data) and wait for 1Password to attempt an iCloud sync.
In most cases, this fixes the issue.

I hate to say, this was on my iPad which doesn't appear to have a Low Power mode. My phone was fine, but I had not enabled Low Power. I'll wait for the fix before I use that feature. I think the main problem was some how having 2 data files in iCloud. Who knows?

Hi @dubman,
- iCloud and data sync are interconnected. If it doesn't work on the iPhone, it carries over to the iPad as well via iCloud sync. This requires a fix on the iPhone first before iPad can work as well.
- Low Power Mode didn't have to be turned on, it's the implementation (code) itself that's the problem. It's brand new to iOS 9 and seem to have some bugs that Apple need to work out and we'll add some workarounds for this.
- For the two data files, that's not the issue usually. A lot of people have the same thing and it started last year with iOS 8 when Apple upgraded iCloud system and it resulted into two versions of iCloud data. You can read our support article on this: https://support.1password.com/icloud-troubleshooting-duplicate-icloud-drive-entries/
I'm glad you got it working, we do wish it went better but we will work with Apple to have this resolved once and for all.
