@Puserwex Thank you for reaching out to us. We have received contact from other customers who have been having issues with their iCloud sync at this time.
We've been able to successfully reproduce this issue and are working on a solution, as it appears that has to do with the new Low Power mode in iOS 9.
Here's what you can try to fix this:
- Cancel out of the Sync screen where it is stuck on ‘Looking up iCloud information’
- Make sure Low Power mode is off. (Go to the phone’s general Settings -> Battery) You might also need to connect to power if battery is low.
- If needed, switch to Wi-Fi (get off cellular data) and wait for 1Password to attempt an iCloud sync.
In most cases, this fixes the issue.

Thanks for the feedback - unfortunately this strategy is problematic as the iPAD (not iPHONE) I am using DOES NOT have a settings field for low power mode under battery. Apparently only the iPhone does. I am already using WiFi. Perhaps a different mechanism is preventing the iCloud sync.

Hi @puserwex,
Can you plug the power into the iPad first, wait a few minutes, and then restart the 1Password app. Open the app switcher and swipe 1Password up to terminate it and now, open it and try to do a sync, does that fix the issue at all?
If not, try resetting the network settings as this helped as well. Before doing this, please note that it will:
- Remove your known wifi networks and their passwords. You'll have to re-add all of this data
- Potentially resetting VPN settings
- Any number of other network related settings might be reset.
To reset: Open the main Settings app, tap on General > Reset. Now, tap on Reset Network Settings.

Bingo!
Plugged in the power.
Made sure to kill the app
restarted 1passwd and it then found the vault in iCloud.

Glad to hear connecting to power resolved the issue. Thanks!
