I upgraded to the Pro version on my Mac but does not work on iOS. Apple ID the same on all devices.
I simply upgraded to PRO on my Mac and it works. Then when I try to use the features on my iOS devices they say that I used a different Apple ID than the one I am using. I have two Apple ID's so I logged out and logged in with the other ID and it still did not work.
Thank you for your help.
Mike

Hi @mikeymikemike,
After logging in with the different ID, did you restart 1Password app first? Try opening the app switcher, swipe 1Password up to terminate it and then try again, does it let you restore the purchase?
Just to clarify, your Mac purchase via the Mac App Store doesn't give you the Pro features on the iOS platform, you do have to purchase the Pro feature separately for each platform.

Ok that should solve it then. So my question is will the pro version on iOS then link to the same vaults after I make the upgrade purchase? I see attached files on my mac, will they automatically be visible (linked) in iOS?

Hi @mikeymikemike,
So my question is will the pro version on iOS then link to the same vaults after I make the upgrade purchase?
Your purchase is linked against your AppleID, you can reuse that purchase on any iOS devices with that AppleID signed in without paying again.
If you haven't bought it yet, make sure you're signed in with the AppleID you used to buy the Mac app with. This AppleID will be used to let iCloud sync your 1Password data between iOS and OS X versions.
Your data inside 1Password is not linked against anything, you can sync it anywhere as long as you have the main 1Password program to unlock it with the vault password. Your data belongs to you and you only.
I see attached files on my mac, will they automatically be visible (linked) in iOS?
Yes, you can sync your attachments via iCloud, Dropbox, and Wi-Fi sync between Mac, iOS and Windows. There are some limits but for iCloud, Mac and iOS will sync your data including attachments. The only restriction is that iCloud will only sync your primary vault and not secondary vaults.

Last question: Ive recently changed Apple IDs and I was using two of them for a while. Is there a way for me to know which Apple ID I sued to make the purchase on the Mac and in iOS? If so and if they are different is there anyway to change the Apple ID so that they are on the same Apple ID? If not then I guess I will just have to make another purchase on the iOS device os it matches the Mac, but I need to know which Apple ID I am used with the purchase.

@mikeymikemike: Only by checking your purchase history or email receipts. And Apple does not allow merging or transferring purchases.

Although it isn't always possible, it's really best to stick with a single Apple ID to avoid this kind of confusion and hassle. Don't even get me started on international purchases! ;)
