I restored my iPhone (to iOS 9) and downloaded 1password from app store. When trying to sync it with iCloud, it says "Looking up iCloud information" and doesn't proceed. I was able to sync it via WiFi to my Mac without any problem, however, I need it to sync with iCloud. Thank you!

I have the same problem. iPad and Mac syncs with iCloud but for some strange reason it just wouldn't sync with iPhone. I am on IOS 9 and have exactly the same problem as above.

@Hayro, @poverello: Sorry for the trouble! We've had some reports of some strange issues with CloudKit syncing in iOS 9. Please try the following:

    1. Cancel out of the Sync screen where it is stuck on ‘Looking up iCloud information’
    2. Make sure Low Power mode is off. (Go to the phone’s general Settings -> Battery) You might also need to connect to power if battery is low.
    3. If needed, switch to Wi-Fi (get off cellular data) and wait for 1Password to attempt an iCloud sync.

In most cases, this fixes the issue. Please let us know how it turns out! :)

Thanks.. When the iphone is plugged into power source, the syncing proceeds. It addresses the issue but I hope there is a permanent fix from Agilebits.

Really strange that it occurs only for iphone and not ipad.

Thank you! When the battery was 100%, the power safe mode was automatically off. It has synched to iCloud without problems

  • Hi guys,

We will file a big bug report with Apple on this. You do not have to have Low Power Mode turned on, we think just the mere implementation of Low Power Mode is causing some issues with CloudKit syncing. The mere fact that plugging the power into the device works for dozens of folks suggest there are some bugs that Apple need to address.

We will try to work around this but the big problem with adding workarounds is that when Apple fixes the bugs, the workarounds might become harmful rather than being useful. So, hopefully, we'll hear back from Apple on how to address this properly.
