Sync failing on IOS device after Macbook vault restored from backup
I realized I had confused one system pin with another system pin at some point in the past, so I wanted to see what data was stored in 1Password vault backups. From the Macbook's 1Password preference pane, I manually took a back up #1 for a latest version snap shot, then picked various back up files to restore. Once I was done looking for my lost pin, I restored back up #1. Everything looked fine until I went to the 1Password app on the iPhone.
After manual backup > restore vault from various old back up files > restore to latest back up, Dropbox syncing is not working any longer.
When I open 1Password on the iPhone, I see evidence that syncing is being attempted. From the Settings area, I see the the Sync icon spinning, but data is not being replicated correctly to the phone. I've seen messages on the Macbook during this process showing Dropbox files are being changed.
Steps taken to fix:
1) Manually synced on then phone -- still busted
2) On the phone, I disabled Syncing and reenabled. -- still busted
What is the next step I should try? Please note, before I found this problem, I made a bunch of password changes from the Macbook and I wish not to lose those changes!
1Password Version: IOS v6.0, Macbook v5.3.2
Extension Version: Firefox v4.4.2 (main browser)
OS Version: IOS 9.0, Macbook 10.10.5
Sync Type: Dropbox

30 minutes ago, I did the following procedure:
1) Deleted 1PW from iPhone
2) Deleted Dropbox app from iPhone
3) Deleted iCloud 1PW from iPhone via settings
4) Rebooted iPhone
5) Reinstalled Dropbox, completed all downloads and app sign ins.
6) Reinsta1lled 1PW, re-synced 1PW against a clean Dropbox sync
7) Result, 1PW on the Macbook doesn't equal 1PW on the iPhone. Here is a comma delimited reconciliation between the Mac and the iPhone and Toshiba. I think something is jacked perhaps between the Macbook and Dropbox. The Toshiba and iPhone agree and the Dropbox status on the Toshiba shows fully in sync.

QA vs All Items,0,0,300,The Dropbox agent on my Mac shows up to date. So I am thinking that something is jacked between the Macbook's 1Password and Dropbox, preventing syncing between all my other devices. What next step should I take to fix?

I found the root of the problem. Somehow during the back up > restoration old files > restoration of latest back up file, the syncing between the Macbook and Dropbox was turned off in Command + , (Preferences) on the Sync tab. Turned syncing back on pointing to Dropbox, closed 1PW on the phone waited a couple of minutes and the data was correct on the phone.
To the AgileBits people, this issue is closed. Continue on your way...

I'm so sorry to hear that you've been having such trouble with 1Password lately. It's great to hear that you got things sorted out, but I do wish we had gotten here in time to be helpful. (We've been a bit busy since the launch of 1Password 6 for iOS, but we're working hard to get back to our usual snappy responses.)
I hope that 1Password behaves perfectly for you from now on, but if you have any other questions or concerns, we're here for you! :)
