Using Safari
I must be doing something wrongly so and would appreciate being set straight. I have the 1Password extension set up for Safari When I click on it I get the screen you see if Safari_1. Where are all my log-ins, I have 127 of them in 1Password? If I click on the 1Password Icon on my IPad (Safari_2) I get acces to all my log-ins - I show my Favorites in Safari_3.
The only way I can seem to get 1Password to work within Safari is to go to the website whre I wish to log in and then invoke 1Password from within Share. If this is the was it is supposed to work it is more complicated that opening 1Password, clicking on the log-in and letting 1Password bring up the website and log me in.
Please help me understand what I am missing. In particular why is the little information shown in Safari_1 selected from amongst all the data I have in my Vault?!
1Password Version: IPad 6.0
Extension Version: 4.6.0.585
OS Version: Windows 7 IOS 9
Sync Type: Dropbox

Hi @Andrew42,
Thanks for taking the time to write in about this.
The only way I can seem to get 1Password to work within Safari is to go to the website whre I wish to log in and then invoke 1Password from within Share.
The Safari extension will only show logins whose URL / website field matches the page that you are on. This is, in part, an anti-phishing technique.
If this is the was it is supposed to work it is more complicated that opening 1Password, clicking on the log-in and letting 1Password bring up the website and log me in.
In some cases for some people that may very well be true, yes.
You can use whichever method is more convenient for you.
Thanks!
