Kind of baffled there's no space bar to enter search terms in the omnibar.
What's the current workaround to search the web using the omnibar. Seems to only accept full urls.

The Keyboard depicted in the most recent user guide (1P 5) shows a keyboard with a space bar. As you can see that's not the keyboard I see when typing in the omnibar. Also user guide is outdated.

    Hi @BoxCar,

Thanks for taking the time to report this. We are aware of this limitation and our developers are looking into it.

Also -- unrelated -- but we don't recommend jailbreaking your device. We cannot provide support for issues caused by jailbreaking. Obviously not the issue here, but just a heads up.

    Thanks!

Ok, unrated... What prompted the jailbreaking comment?

Not jailbroken, but I am running iOS 9.1 (kind of forgot). Doubt that causes the wrong keyboard to display. But not trying to be the guy saying, "why doesn't your software work with this beta OS?"

  • @BoxCar,

No, the keyboard issue is definitely an issue on stable iOS 9 w/ latest 1Password.

The reason I mentioned jailbreaking is it looked as though your device was, based on the signal level being shown as text vs bars (or bubbles). I was not aware that was an option on non-jailbroken iOS.

    Thanks.

    Ben

It is not jailbroken there's a service code I entered many iOSes ago. No jailbreaking required.
