Extension and app "Lock service"

Hi

I have some troubles with the "lock service" introduced in 5.5 that should remember if I have logged in either in the app or the extension. I have tried to get it to work on an iPad air (first one without the touchID). I discovered that to get it to work I had to activate the pin-code but the problem is I don't want to use the pin code since I don't think it's secure enough. I would like to instead login in with the master password after the configured time has passed.

Am I doing something wrong or is this how it works? Any possibility to change the behavior in a future release?

Regards
Björn

  • Hi @bjornhellstrom,

Thanks for taking the time to write to us. Sorry for the delay in replying to you. Yes, that is indeed working as designed. The PIN code (or Touch ID for enabled devices) is required for it to work in the way you've described. I'll be happy to pass the feedback along to our development team to see if this is something they would consider changing in the future.

    Thanks!

    Ben
