Can I delete from iOS device without losing from desktop with next sync?

I use wifi sync between a desktop on mavericks & iPod touch. If I delete a few sensitive and rarely used passwords from my iPod can I prevent losing them from my desktop (mac) computer with the next sync?

    Thanks for taking the time to write in. I apologize for the delay in responding. We've had a much higher inflow of requests since the release of iOS 9 / 1Password 6.

    If you delete the items from one device, and then sync that device with another device, the items will also be deleted from that device. What you might want to look into doing is creating a secondary vault to house those items, and excluding that vault from your sync. This would require an update to OS X Yosemite and the latest version of 1Password:
