Not syncing

I have the previous 1password ver 3. I also have the new version. But as i press the option import from version 3. And press the option open 1password 3 and followed the instructions on turning on syncing. As i open the 1password ver 3. It shuts down (the app ver 3). I only use this on iphone 6plus. Has a back up on pc on my previous ver 3. But i tried syncing via pc and downloaded the 1password ver 4 software. But the extension is not the same.

If you have a backup from 1Password 3 for iOS you can give these steps a try:
https://support.1password.com/upgrade-ios/#1password-3-7-1-or-earlier

You can skip down to "Rename your 1Password 3 backup." Upgrading this way does not require 1Password 3 for iOS to be launched.
