I don't have Touch ID. How do I stop 1P from closing after every change of app on my iPad? Using iOS
Switching to Safari to fill anything results in 1P closing and requiring another password entry.
1Password Version: 5.3.1
Extension Version: 4.4.3
OS Version: iOS9

On my iPad here is a settings cog on the left hand side near the bottom. When I choose that and "Security" I get the option to Lock on Exit - turning that off stops it reasking my password every time I app switch. Be careful you don't set your iPad down without logging out though.
There is also a PIN code I set that asks for a 4-digit number instead of the whole password unless I mess up the code or power off which requires the full password.
Hope this helps!

@paulbear7 Deverill is correct. Make sure "Lock on exit" isn't on in the Settings > Security section of 1Password 5 for iOS. If it is, every time you leave 1Password, it will lock

Thanx for the suggestion, but "lock on exit" is not selected. Auto-lock is set for 10 minutes. Have not enabled any PIN code. Any other suggestions? Please!

Hi @paulbear7,
The 1Password extension will always prompt you to enter your Master Password even if "Lock On Exit" is disabled. This is by design, it is not a bug.
The reason is that we only store your Master Password in the iOS Keychain when Quick Unlock (Touch ID or PIN Code) is enabled. Contrary to the main app, the extension is re-launched at every launch. Meaning that when you close it, the OS kills the process. If you want the extension to respect the Auto-Lock timeout, we recommend that you enable the PIN Code.
For more information about locking in 1Password 5.5 or later, please take a look at our Improved locking in 1Password 5.5 for iOS blogpost.
Hope that this helps
