So my master password works on my pc, but not my ios device. Why?

  1. My IOS device will not let me open the 1Password File that I set up on Dropbox. I know the password as I am able to confirm the password on Windows. I've even accessed the same file on multiple windows. I tried connecting to an icloud copy which I could not connect to. NOTHING (except a new file) allowed me to connect on IOS

  2. If I buy the Windows version, does it protect me from major upgrades if you have any major releases coming soon?

    1. Without giving anything away, could this page, Should I use special characters in my Master Password? be applicable to your current Master Password at all?
    2. I'm going to defer to our AgileBits Software Licenses page.

    When you purchase AgileBits software your license will never expire and you can use it on the current version of the licensed application indefinitely.

    Your purchase entitles you to free updates until the next major version upgrade. That means if you buy a license for version 2 of a product, you will get all 2.x releases for free, but upgrading to version 3 might require another purchase.

    Does that help at all? Question 1 is pretty important so please do keep us updated as to if you are still having issues.
