Almost imposible to copy & paste or edit a secure note.

Hi guys! Love the program, but this latest version has a problem. After creating a secure note with some text in the notes field, try then pressing edit. Then try to edit the note -- it's almost impossible because the note jumps to the top of the screen on the iPhone and all you see is the red "Delete Secure Note." Please tell me I'm not crazy and fix this issue. Thanks.

I'm an iPhone 6 user and use One Password. 2 months ago the app worked great. The latest updates may have made the app bad.

Whenever I create a Login or a Secure Notes I also like to add some comments in the Note section.

Trying to add a NOTE in the Login or Secured Notes category type is not pleasant at all.
Once I tap the Notes section I am not allowed to see what I am typing as the screen automatically scrolls downward to a field that says " Saved Form Details" and "Delete Login". Then when I scroll back upward to view NOTE and attempt to type again then the screen once again scrolls downward. !!!

In addition, when I attempt to edit the Login or Secure Notes category type and tap on NOTE I am not allowed to scroll up or down on an existing note therefore making it virtually impossible to edit the NOTE.

    SO VERY FRUSTRATING!!!

    Can you fix this?

You're not crazy. Same issue here (and same version). Looks like agileBits have fired all their programmers and replaced them with marketing consultants. 'Cmon! not being able to enter a text note? I mean this is "hello world" programming territory!

I happily used 1password v3.7 until recently, when iOS9 killed it. Then I was forced to "downgrade" to version 6.0.1 and what a disappointment it was!

I have the same problems...Can't see any text to edit. Is someone on the case with this ?

  • Hi folks,

I'm very sorry for the trouble. Our developers are aware of the issue and are working on a fix.

    Thanks!

In edit mode on my iPhone6 I cannot edit the notes section because I cannot scroll down to the edit section. When I try to do that it always pops back up, not showing the notes section of the screen.

  • Hi @jlshanks

I've merged your thread with another on the same subject. Please see above.

    Thanks.

Wow, I'm glad I found this post before I upgraded to ios 9 / 1password 6. Secure notes are very important to me and I got caught by a similar bug in a previous version which drove me crazy. I'll follow this post and hopefully one of you will post if a future fix works.

We will! We're working on a fix for this. Apart from a few issues, iOS 9 and 1Password 6 are in good shape, but there's no harm in waiting...only insecurity.

Wait for a fix if you edit secure notes. It is totally unusable on my iPhone 5. You can blind type some text into the note, but editing it is completely impossible.

To developers/testers. Note that the current app is very good to read the notes. But if I edit, click on the text to edit, then cancel (or done) I can only see 4 lines of the note (because the 4 actions at the bottom are fixed on the screen). This only happens on quite long notes, if I edit a short or medium length note it works fine (the 4 actions scroll with the note, not fixed to the screen).

@ADent: I didn't realize that it was more problematic on older devices. Thank you for sharing that! I'm sorry for the inconvenience this is causing you. :(

I agree with ADent user, it is totally unusable on iphone 5/5S. The edit field scroll up beyond screen area what make it impossible to edit, select or change anything in secure notes.

@fleive: Thanks for letting us know! I'm sorry for the trouble this is causing. The development team is working on the Secure Notes issue.

I can edit my secure notes on my iPad air2, although it does jump about a bit. But on my iPhone 6s + it is almost impossible, both are running iOS 9.0.2.

@Furzul: Indeed. The smaller the screen, the more difficult it is currently. We'll get this fixed!
