I am unable to synch my new phone using Wi-Fi, and don't want to use iCloud or Dropbox. Any advice?

Trying, unsuccessfully, to move my passwords from an old phone to a new one. I've tried multiple times to synch using Wi-Fi, and it's not working. Has anyone else had and solved this problem?

Hi @richard_vanedsinga,

WiFi sync allows one or more iOS devices to sync with a Mac. It does not allow multiple iOS devices to sync with each other without 1Password for Mac. Are you trying to sync 1Password for iOS to 1Password for Mac first?

Unfortunately WiFi sync won't do that. WiFi sync relies on having both a client and a server. The Mac is the server, and the iOS device is the client. Two clients cannot sync with each other.

To sync two iOS devices without a Mac you'd need to use either Dropbox or iCloud.
