Occasional 1PW slide over annoyance

This might be an Apple problem rather than Agilebits but I'll raise it here anyway. I've searched a few pages on the forum but see nothing obviously duplicated.

Anyway, when I open the slide over window the App it rests on is often 1password (does it default to last used?) which sometimes but not always* automatically serves a fingerprint ID pop-up. The frustration is that I have to dismiss this pop-up before I can scroll through the list of other available apps I may want to use.

*regarding this I notice that on other occasions I get the simple log-in window where i can press the fingerprint icon to get the scan popup. This makes me think it could be a 1PW issue rather than one with how slideover works more generally.

(and unrelated Slideover rant - pls Apple implement a means to limit which Apps appear there. I don't want to have to scroll through X every enabled app)

@CheeseBlunder: I think you may be right. It isn't entirely clear, but I have at least two other apps that exhibit this behaviour. And while it may be that there's no way around this due to the way that Touch ID works, we'll certainly see if we can find a solution!

One thought I had is that, now that we have the button to bring up Touch ID even after it's be cancelled, perhaps it would be possible to not have Touch ID come up automatically, but rather only when the user taps it on the unlock screen. Now, I'm not sure that this is a good idea, since it might be an inconvenience for some or have other unintended consequences, but we'll see what we can do. Thanks for bringing this up! :)
