Lost all my passwords on my iPhone
I upgraded from an iPhone 6 to an iPhone 6s today. Before I got my new phone I did an iTunes backup on my MacBook Pro. I never did an kind of extra backups on my passwords because I believed that they would all be saved with the iTunes backup. When I finished my backup and got all my apps onto my new phone 1password asked me to create a new vault or Sync existing vault. I don't believe that I synced or backed up anything except to iTunes. Have I lost all my passwords or is there still some way to get them from the backup on my iTunes? Unfortunately I have already wiped out my old iPhone 6 because I thought that everything would be fine. I'll have to be more careful next time.

I have read that some users have been able to retrieve their data if they restored their phone a second time from the same backup. Backing up the phone is supposed to back up data, but it seems that this is unreliable. See if a second restore helps you.

@DelShaunzy: In my experience it isn't the backups that are unreliable, but rather the restore process. As hawkmoth mentioned, often restoring again from the same backup with (paradoxically) produce different (and hopefully better) results. Hang onto that iTunes backup, as there may be a way to retrieve data from it if necessary (and if the backup was in fact complete), but restoring it to your device again is fairly likely to resolve the issue. Please let me know how it turns out! :)

Thanks Guys, it looks like that did the trick. Not sure what happened with the first backup but the second one did the trick. Appreciate the help.

@DelShaunzy: Indeed. Thanks for the update! I'm relieved to hear that it all worked out. But be sure to backup your 1Password data too! It's always good to have a contingency plan. ;)
