When I uninstall the 1Password app from my iOS, does all of my passwords also delete?

I installed the app and it was very useful until the iOS system upgrades. I cannot use my Touch ID and the master password I created is not working. I was wondering if I delete the app from my phone, does all of the passwords saved in the vault delete also?

  • Hi @mshwllms,

Thanks for taking the time to write in. Yes, removing the 1Password app from a device also removes all 1Password data from that device. It does not remove any data that has been synced to iCloud, Dropbox, or a Mac or Windows PC using WiFi sync from those locations (only from the device the app is removed from).

There is no way to decrypt the data stored in 1Password other than with the correct Master Password.

    Thanks!

    Ben
