How do I migrate from 3.7.2 to 6?
What has been provided in the thread "How do I upgrade from 1Password 3 on iOS?" did not work either way for me. Neither did 3.7.2 prompted me whether I want to migrate to 4 nor did the import via itunes seem to have any effect at all.
I am on an iPhone 6 on iOS 9.0.1
Many thanks in advance

Hi @aleficompany,
Sorry to hear about the trouble! Could you please walk me through the steps you are taking when trying to restore the iTunes backup, what happens after each step, and if different from what you were expecting what happens instead?
Thanks!
Ben

Everything goes well apart from two aspects:
1 - My OSX 10.10.5 does not ask whether I am sure about changing the extension, but I guess this is not the core problem
2- After Sync and reopening 1P 6 simply nothing happens - the list is empty as before, although iTunes marks the files as "imported" in the extension.

It probably actually is. :)
Please try right clicking on the file, selecting Get Info, and make sure Hide Extension is not checked. Then try changing the file name / extension from that screen.
If Finder isn't prompting you about changing the extension, it probably isn't doing so. It is probably just appending the text as part of the file name, not the extension.
Thanks.

Thanks again - I checked that before and though not confirming with me Finder does change the extension. And the checkmark is not set for hide extension. It's actually greyed out. I can't turn it on either.

Interesting. I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from v6:
https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/ios.html
Attach the Diagnostics Report to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.
You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report and ensure that it is dealt with quickly. :)
Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks very much!
Ben
