Pre-defined Section Names Problem
Hello everybody, there's a couple of things which I think need addressing with regards to section names in 1Password.
When creating a new bank account, under the 'account type' section, the only options available are chosen by 'scrolling the wheel' and chosing a pre-defind account type. I know you guys refer to a standard bank account as a 'checking account' but here in the UK we call them 'Current Accounts'
Is there a way of adding this to the 'wheel' option under type, or perhaps in a future update your devs can add the ability to add a custom name for 'account type'
A similar problem I'm having with regards to adding a new card is that once again, the wheel option under 'card type' lists visa, Amex etc but no option for 'Store Card' now I know you guys have store cards in Canada so why isn't there a 'type' for store cards?
And finally, since I'm giving my 2 cents worth, :) In a future update, can the pre-defined section names be spelt with a leading capital letter. For example if adding any item to any category, once you hit the '+' to add something all the titles are spelt in lower case, like this:
bank name
bank address
It would be more asthetically pleasing to be:
Bank Name
Bank Address
This may not seem like a big deal you say, but it's playing havoc with my OCD! It niggles at me every time I use 1Password. :)
I know I can manually change this for each section, but I would be editing forever and a day applying this to my vault!

Hi @EAPTCB,
I'd like to start with the card types if I may. I do so as it's a sensitive point over on the Mac too, actually all platforms where all of our European customers have been pleading for for debit cards amongst many. I shall make a note of your request but sadly I can't promise anything and that's coming from somebody with visa debit cards and would also love to see this happen. Re-reading your post, as you're from the UK you know exactly what I mean
I may be able to offer something more promising with the first part though. In 1Password for iOS can you try visiting Settings > Advanced > Language and set the language to en-GB please. I believe you will find you have a current account type if you do so  We can thank @Stephen_C for his tireless efforts here to appease those of us on this small island. I can't say this really ever bothered me but now we have it I'm definitely happier
Now to the last one, lower case field labels. All the strings, case included is shared between OS X and iOS and for reasons I don't understand OS X likes to make everything lower case. I see this in the Contacts application and Calendar too. If I used Mail I suspect I might find something similar there as well. On the other hand iOS differs in both the Contacts and Calendar iOS apps. So we've tried to remain in keeping in OS X and you're now suffering from this design decision. Yosemite's look and feel really does seem to divide...

@littlebobbytables thank you for the in-depth explanation. I just chose the language and my checking account is now current! Thanks.
With regards the cards, yes, it is a shame people are demanding but nothing is being done... Actually, my query was for store cards, not debit cards.
For example in the UK, any major department store offers their own store card which works in a similar way to a credit card. Debenhams, Marks and Spensers, Harrods, etc.

We do appreciate the feedback, @EAPTCB. We have similar things in the US -- JC Penney, Macy's, Bon-Ton, and the like all offer store cards... But here they don't have fields that are any different from an actual credit card. I.e. They still have a cardholder's name, 16 digit card number, etc, and as such can be stored pretty naturally in the credit card section (same with debit cards). I understand how they work behind the scenes is different, but as far as what fields are needed in 1Password they are similar enough.
It is certainly on the list of things we'd like to do, but that list is very long. Typically requests that receive a lot of feedback are the ones that we focus on first.
Thanks.
Ben
