Dropbox Sync stopped on my iPad at some point. It's working fine on my iPhone and iMac. When selecting Sync settings on the iPad, I am prompted to "Start Syncing", and then to choose a method. Selecting "Dropbox" Correctly shows my dropbox account (and also a choose to "Connect Another Account". When selecting my Dropbox account, the window blanks and it just hangs there. Btw, dropbox app works well in the device so there seems to be nothing wrong with the dropbox configuration.

Thanks in advance for your help.

  • @drass - If your 1Password data is safely on your other devices and in Dropbox, can you try reinstalling 1Password on your iPad -

Tap and hold the 1Password icon. The icons will start jiggling and then you can tap on the 'x' that appears on the 1Password icon.
    Press Home Button.

At this point it might be wise to also reset your iPad - Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Now re-download 1Password through the App Store. Please let us know if this helps.

Thanks Laura. Unfortunately, my iPad has the latest data since that is what I use to add new accounts, etc. Anyway i can get the data off my iPad before re-installing?

  • @drass - Can you try simply resetting your iPad and see if this helps - Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo. Thanks!

Just did that. No Change in behaviour.

  • @drass - I'd like to ask you to create some Diagnostics Reports, one from each of your devices.

    —Mac—
    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/mac.html

    —iOS—
    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/ios.html

Attach the Diagnostics Report to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report and ensure that it is dealt with quickly. :)

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks very much!
