Iam running 3.7.2 and am trying to upgrade and import my data to new iphone tried above without luc

Trying to upgrade and import from 3.7.2 ios to new version on a iphone 6s running newest ios version I have tried all the steps on the website several times, including import directly from the old version to importing the import file via itunes. Still afterwards, data does not appear If it mattters all of my data is saved under Notes
